Camp Quest is a secular summer camp that has the potential to reach beyond the secular movement and bring the children of new secular families into the fold, learning secular philosophy, science, and critical thinking. They have been expanding for years, and are all over the country now, but demand is exceeding supply! So they could expand a great deal more. They do great work. And it’s a deductible charity. Check it out, and give a little! Help the cause of secularism and critical thought in the U.S. Just look at the election. We need that now more than ever!

If you still aren’t convinced, Seth Andrews, The Thinking Atheist, presents a brief video explaining why he thinks everyone should support this cause. He also just released a new podcast episode that “shares some intense stories of experiences people had going to Christian summer camps as children” and he “contrasts these experiences of indoctrination with what [they] do at Camp Quest.” It’s powerful stuff. And reveals why this organization is so important, and fills a much needed niche in the secular cause.

The campaign ends this Friday, so donate now!
