This April 29 (2017) I’ll be tabling and selling my books (including my new one on Science Education in the Early Roman Empire) at the Michigan Atheists Convention (and attending the afterparty) at the Center for Secular Humanism on 28611 West Twelve Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI. The official description of the event:

Make a weekend of these 2 great events:  On Friday, April 28 the Center for Inquiry and the Humanists of SE Michigan will be hosting Susan Jacoby for a talk called A Secular History of Conversion. [Update: I will be speaking in her stead that evening, details here; Jacoby’s talk will occur the week before]. The Michigan Atheist Convention will be April 29th at the same location and includes a free Afterglow at 7PM at the Comfort in just down the street for convention attendees.

Speakers for the Michigan Atheists Convention include Jennifer BeahanWissam CharafeddineMatt Dillahunty, Greg Forbes, and Frank Zindler.

The very affordable tickets and other details (including how to get the convention rate at a nearby hotel) are available at the Meetup Page for the event. Check it out!
